Pre Arrival

Welcome Message

You want to ensure that the guests have all of the information that they need to get their holiday off to a great start. We suggest using WhatsApp to send messages to the guests where possible.

If a guest doesn’t have WhatsApp, you will first need to send them a text message to get an email address for them in order to be able to attach any documents e.g. Crew lists Provisioning lists, guests preference list, route plans, local charts or maps etc.

3 Days prior to guests arrival

Send to all guests due to arrive

Example of Text or WhatsApp message: "Your holiday onboard your Chartered yacht is now just a few days away and we are looking forward to meeting you.

In order to be completely prepared for your sailing adventure and skippered charter holiday, please let us know when you will arrive in the marina/base and save this number to your phone, so you can contact me directly. Also, please find a link with information on the skippers role during your charter. Kind regards, Your Skipper."
